Corean Tender beef slices with kiwiberry marinade

Marinade

  • 2 kiwiberries
  • 3 tablespoons of soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons of mirin
  • 1 tablespoon of brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of toasted sesame
  • 2 minced garlic cloves

Beef

  • 700gr of beef steak
  • 2 tablespoons of oil
  • Salt and pepper

First prepare the marinade:

In a small bowl, puree the kiwi berries, add all the ingredients for the marinade and mix well.

Rub the beef steak with the marinade until it is well coated. Leave to rest for 10 minutes (not more or your meat will become soggy)

Heat a frying pan and add the steaks when the pan is hot. Cook the steak for 6 minutes by turning every minute. After 6 minutes the steak is medium rare, cook more or less according to your liking.

Once cooked, place the steaks on a clean plate and leave it to rest for 2 minutes.

Slice it with a sharp knife and poor the juices over again. Add fresh kiwiberries to taste and serve with rice or roasted vegetables.
